Being a Festspiele supporter comes with many advantages!
The Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern supports the careers of young musicians systematically and sustainably. This work, however, would never be possible without the support of our dedicated members. In order to continue financing these valuable programs in the future, we kindly ask for your support. If the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is close to your heart, become a sustaining member – and enjoy the many individual benefits:

- Invitation to the annual members’ assembly

These benefits are available to members who support the Festspiele with a minimum membership fee of €50 per year for individual membership or €80 per year for couples membership.

The Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern e.V. is a registered non-profit organization. Your membership fees and donations are tax deductible. For proof of membership fees/donations up to € 200, the German tax authorities will accept a cash-deposit receipt or bank-transfer confirmation. For payments/donations over € 200, we would be happy to send you a charitable donation certificate for your tax report.
Advisory Committees
With over 120 concerts and events at more than 70 venues throughout the state, the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern team is always grateful for support from volunteers. Most of the volunteers that support the Festspiele staff each summer are members of regional Advisory Committees; many are Festspiele friends or former interns. The 12 Advisory Committees, with a total of more than 70 dedicated members throughout the state, oversee the venues and concerts in their regions. With their proximity to the concerts, the Advisory Committees are able to serve as links between the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the venues, the artists, and the guests, fostering the distinctive, family-like “Festspiele atmosphere”. The actual work and responsibilities of the Advisory Committees vary greatly, depending on the region and venue: For example, these groups can be responsible for organizing the food and lodging of the artists, helping organize event parking, distributing posters, preparing flower decorations, and selling programs, but are also simply available on site to help out wherever needed.
