Samow, Festhalle der Gutsanlage
The Herrenhaus Samow (Samow Manor) was originally built in 1658 and reconstructed with its present-day, purely neoclassical architecture around 1810. It is situated in a spacious landscape park with old trees. Guests can relax in the garden room with its library for visitors, the music room with its grand piano, or the study with its cozy fireplace. Nature lovers can enjoy birdwatching: A stork lives here, and there are many cranes in the area. The surrounding grounds are a great place to encounter rare animals. In the 830 hectares (2,000 acres) of Samow’s own hunting and wildlife reserve, vacationers can observe wildlife or possibly go hunting. A well-maintained swimming pond two kilometers (1.25 miles) from the manor can by reached by bicycle over country roads. The Baltic seacoast is also just a short drive from Samow. In addition, guests can enjoy delicious meals at the Hofrestaurant Samow, beside the manor. With the newly renovated festival hall, there is now enough space for parties and weddings, as well as larger concerts.
